Buket KARA
Lecturer / Deputy Director
Buket Kara received her bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching from Middle East Technical University and her bachelor's degree in International Relations from Anadolu University. She completed her master's degree in English Language Teaching at Başkent University's Institute of Educational Sciences, focusing on critical thinking skills and textbook analysis using Bloom's Taxonomy. She also holds a CELTA certificate from Cambridge University. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in English Language Education at TED University. Buket Kara has been a lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages at Ankara Medipol University since September 2020 and has been serving as Deputy Director since June 2025.
Tubanur PİRDAL

Tubanur Pirdal completed his Bachelor’s degree (BA) in the department of English Language Teaching at Boğaziçi University. She has finished her master studies in the department of Linguistics. Her study is about “The Effect of Linear Distance and Word Order in the Bilingualism on the Processing of Genitive-Possessive Constructions in Native Language”. She started to work at Ankara Medipol University as an English Instructor in September, 2020. She had two years of experience with young learners and she worked at University of Turkish Aeronautical Association as an English Instructor.
Yeşim UĞURLU ŞEN

Yeşim Uğurlu Şen completed her Bachelor's (BA) degree in English Language Teaching at Gazi University, and Master's (MA) degree in English Language Education at Gazi University Gazi Institute of Education. Her master thesis is on instruction giving practices in EFL classes. She continues her academic studies in foreign language education. Before starting to work at Ankara Medipol University, she worked as an English instructor at several universities around Turkey. Yeşim Uğurlu Şen has been working as an instructor at Ankara Medipol University, School of Foreign Languages since April, 2022.
Aysu Esra TURHAN DEMİR

Aysu Esra Turhan Demir received her Bachelor’s (BA) degree in English Language and Literature from Celal Bayar University in 2015. She received her pedagogical formation certificate from Celal Bayar University. She is currently an MA student in the department of English Linguistics at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University. Before starting to work at Ankara Medipol University, she worked at different English courses and universities such as Ankara University, Atılım University. She has been working as an English instructor at Ankara Medipol University School of Foreign Languages since September 2022.
Ertuğrul Enis Can

After graduating from Gazi University English Language Teaching department, Ertuğrul Enis Can is now chasing a master’s degree at Ankara University, Educational Management department. Before joining Ankara Medipol University, he worked at many different courses and schools. He works as an instructor at Ankara Medipol University as of September 2023.
Hacer Ecre Güneş
Lecturer
Hacer Ecre Güneş completed her undergraduate studies in English Language Teaching at Düzce University, graduating as the top student in her department. She then earned a scholarship to pursue her MA in English Language Education at Başkent University, Institute of Educational Sciences, from which she graduated in April 2025 after successfully defending her thesis on accents. Following a three-month training program, she was awarded a TESOL certificate accredited by Trinity College London. Since February 2023, Güneş has been working as an English Language Instructor at the School of Foreign Languages, Ankara Medipol University.
Hande FİDAN
Lecturer
Hande Fidan completed her undergraduate education at the Department of English Language Teaching at Middle East Technical University in Ankara. She studied English Language Teaching at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg in Germany as part of a student exchange program. She worked in various institutions before joining Ankara Medipol University and started to work as a lecturer at Ankara Medipol University, School of Foreign Languages English Preparatory Program in September 2022.
Hatice Eslem BAŞAR
Lecturer
Hatice Eslem Başar holds a Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Foreign Language Education and a Minor Degree in International Relations from Middle East Technical University in 2022. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's Degree (MA) in English Language Teaching at Hacettepe University. During her undergraduate years, she took part as a co-founder in the project called 'METU FLE ELT Talks', in which highly successful academicians took part. Hatice Eslem Başar has been working as a lecturer in the English Preparatory Program at Ankara Medipol University School of Foreign Languages since September, 2022.
Hikmet Yıldız
Lecturer
Hikmet Yıldız completed his undergraduate degree in English Language Teaching Department at Boğaziçi University. She is currently continuing her master's degree in English Language Education at Kocaeli University and is at the thesis stage. The thesis is about dynamic assessment of students' writing skills. Before joining Ankara Medipol University, she worked as an instructor at universities and an English teacher at private schools. Hikmet Yıldız has been working as a Lecturer at Ankara Medipol University School of Foreign Languages since September 2023.
Gamze Nur Aslan

Gamze Nur Aslan completed her undergraduate degree in English Language Teaching Department at Middle East Technical University. She is currently pursuing her M. A. Studies in the department of English Language Teaching at Hacettepe University. Before joining Ankara Medipol University, she worked as English Language Instructor at various universities. Gamze Nur Aslan has been working as an instructor at Ankara Medipol University School of Foreign Languages since September 2023.

İlknur Koca completed her undergraduate degree in English Language Teaching Department at Hacettepe University. She is currently working on her postgraduate studies in the department of Educational Administration at Ankara University. Before joining Ankara Medipol University, she worked as an English teacher at various private schools. She has been working as an Instructor at Ankara Medipol University School of Foreign Languages since September 2023.
İpek Sarıkaya
Lecturer
İpek Sarıkaya holds a Bachelor’s (BA) degree in English Linguistics and a Minor degree in English Translation and Interpretation from Hacettepe University in 2023. She graduated as the highest ranked student in the Linguistics department and Faculty of Literature with a 3.90 GPA. During her undergraduate education, she attended the 15th Student Conference of Linguistics with two oral presentations. Also, she completed her internship as a Principal Trainee of Translator in the Translation and Coordination Department in the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs. She is currently an MA student in the department of English Language Teaching at Hacettepe University. İpek Sarıkaya has been working as an instructor at Ankara Medipol University, School of Foreign Languages since October 2023.

Neşe Atasoy

Neşe Atasoy completed her first Bachelor's (BA) degree in Translation and Interpreting Department at Hacettepe University and completed her second Bachelor's (BA) degree in English Language Teaching Department at Gazi University. She holds an international TESOL certificate approved by Global TESOL College. Prior to working in Ankara Medipol University, she worked as a Translator and an English teacher in various private schools and institutions. Neşe Atasoy has been working as a Lecturer at Ankara Medipol University School of Foreign Languages since September 2023.

Salih DEVELİ

Salih Develi completed his undergraduate education at Gazi University, Department of English Language and Literature, and completed two semesters of his undergraduate studies at the State Higher Vocational School of Nowy Sacz in Poland. He is currently pursuing his MA studies in English Language Education at Ufuk University. Before joining Ankara Medipol University, he worked as an English teacher/lecturer at various institutions and universities. During his time at a previous higher education institution, he also took an active role in the Curriculum Unit, contributing to material design, resource organization, and curriculum development processes. He holds a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate and has been working as a lecturer at Ankara Medipol University School of Foreign Languages since September 2023.
Sema ÖZARSLAN

Sema Özarslan completed her Bachelor’s (BA) degree in the department of English Language Teaching at Anadolu University. Before starting to work at Ankara Medipol University, she worked as an English instructor at several universities around Turkey. She holds a DELTA Module 2 Certificate from Cambridge University. Sema Özarslan has been working as an English instructor of Ankara Medipol University School of Foreign Languages since September, 2020.
Serdar SOYER

Serdar Soyer completed his undergraduate education at the Department of English Language Teaching at Middle East Technical University. He started his professional life by working at various language schools and besides teaching, he wrote, edited and designed many textbooks. He is currently doing his master's degree in Sociology of Education at Ankara University. He has been working as a lecturer at Ankara Medipol University School of Foreign Languages since October 2022.

Zeynep Kargalıoğlu completed her undergraduate education at Gazi University, Department of English Language Teaching, and completed one semester of her undergraduate education at Jagiellonian University in Poland. Zeynep Serbest completed her undergraduate degree in English Language Teaching Department at Gazi University. Bersu GÜLER
Lecturer
Bersu Güler completed her undergraduate degree in English Language Teaching at Middle East Technical University with high honors. Throughout her university years, she served as a board member of the METU Education Community and organized numerous educational seminars. She later completed her master's degree in Educational Sciences at the Université Paris Cité in France on a scholarship. In addition to teaching English, she also worked as a curriculum coordinator at numerous schools and as a training coordinator in companies throughout her graduate studies. Since September 2024, she has been working as a lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages at Ankara Medipol University.
Ahmet Tunahan KIRTAŞ

Ahmet Tunahan Kırtaş completed his undergraduate studies in English Language Teaching at Hacettepe University with high honors. He also spent part of his undergraduate studies as an exchange student at the University of Rijeka in Croatia. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in English Language Teaching at Middle East Technical University. Before joining Ankara Medipol University, he worked as an instructor at various language schools. Since September 2024, he has been working as a lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages at Ankara Medipol University.
Senay Ada FARAÇOĞLU

Senay Ada Faraçoğlu graduated from Ankara University with a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature in 2012. In addition to completing pedagogical formation training at Ankara University, she holds a CELTA certificate approved by Cambridge University. Before joining Ankara Medipol University, she worked as an English teacher in various schools and held curriculum development positions. Currently pursuing her master's degree at Bilkent University, S. Ada Faraçoğlu has been working as a lecturer at Ankara Medipol University's School of Foreign Languages since September 2024.

Emre Büyükçelik completed his undergraduate degree in English Language Teaching at Gazi University. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in English Language Education at the Gazi Institute of Educational Sciences. After graduation, he worked at various colleges, where he furthered his educational experience. Since September 2024, he has been a lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages at Ankara Medipol University.
Melek KONDAK CAN
Lecturer
Melek Kondak Can graduated from Gazi University's English Language Teaching Department in 2020. During her undergraduate studies, she studied as an exchange student at University College Absalon in Denmark and interned at a public school there. Since 2020, she has taught English at the K-12 and higher education levels in various private and public institutions both in Turkey and abroad. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in English Language Teaching at Gazi University and has been working as a lecturer at Medipol University's School of Foreign Languages since September 2024.
Reyyan Betül CAKCAK

Reyyan Betül Cakcak graduated with high honors from the English Language Education Department at Hacettepe University. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in English Language Education at the Gazi Institute of Educational Sciences. After graduating, she gained experience by working at various educational institutions. Since September 2024, Reyyan Betül Cakcak has been working as a lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages at Ankara Medipol University.
Aylin ÜNSAL

Aylin Ünsal received her BA in English Language and Literature from Ankara University in 2005 and her MA in Migration Studies from TED University, writing a thesis on the educational challenges faced by Syrian students. In addition to teaching English at various levels in established educational institutions, she has also held coordination and administrative positions. She has also lectured on English Language Education and migration at various educational institutions and conferences. As of October 2024, she has been a lecturer in the English Preparatory Program at Medipol University's School of Foreign Languages.
Selinnur SEVGİLİCAN

Selinnur Sevgilican completed her undergraduate studies in English Language and Literature at Ankara Social Sciences University in 2022. She completed an Erasmus internship teaching English abroad. She received a pedagogical formation certificate from Gazi University. She is currently pursuing her academic studies in the English Language and Literature MA program at Ankara Social Sciences University. Her academic interests include research on topics such as post-war English literature, modernism, and contemporary English theatre. Before joining Ankara Medipol University, she worked as an instructor at various institutions. Since February 2024, Selinnur Sevgilican has been working as a lecturer at Ankara Medipol University's School of Foreign Languages.
Göksu KILIÇ

Göksu Kılıç received her bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Bilkent University. Following graduation, she completed a master's degree in Curriculum Development and Teaching Methods at the same university's Institute of Educational Sciences, earning a pedagogical formation certificate, an IBDP certificate, and the Bilsel Alisbah Scholarship. She is currently working on her second master's degree in the English Language Teaching program at Başkent University's Institute of Educational Sciences, completing her thesis. Before joining Ankara Medipol University, she worked as an English teacher at various colleges and has been a lecturer at Ankara Medipol University's School of Foreign Languages since September 2025.
Berfinsu Devrim PİŞKİN

Berfinsu Devrim Pişkin completed her bachelor's degree in 2023 as a high honors student in the English Language Teaching department at TED University. She is currently pursuing her master's degree and thesis work in the same department at Gazi University. She has worked at various institutions prior to joining Ankara Medipol University. She has been working as an instructor at the Ankara Medipol University School of Foreign Languages since September 2025.

Ezgi EĞRİKAYA

Ezgi Eğrikaya completed her undergraduate degree in English Language Teaching at Gazi University. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in English Language Education at the Gazi Institute of Educational Sciences. Having previously worked as an English language teacher at various educational institutions in Ankara, Ezgi Eğrikaya has been working as a lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages at Ankara Medipol University since September 2025.
Yiğit ÜRNEZ

Yiğit Ürnez graduated with high honors from the English Language Teaching Department at Hacettepe University in 2023. He has gained language teaching experience by working with various age groups for over three years. He served as an English teacher at the METU Development Foundation Schools and also taught various language courses and individual tutoring. During his time at METU, he conducted a seminar on teacher development. Since September 2025, Yiğit Ürnez has been a lecturer in the English Preparatory Program at Ankara Medipol University's School of Foreign Languages.
Şulenur DEMİRBAŞ

Şulenur Demirbaş completed her undergraduate degree in the department of English Language Teaching at Hacettepe University as the first-ranking student. During her undergraduate studies, she spent an academic semester as an Erasmus+ exchange student at the University of Rijeka in Croatia. She was awarded the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship (FLTA) right after her graduation. Through this scholarship, she served as a language teaching assistant for elementary and intermediate Turkish courses at the University of Washington in Seattle for one academic year. During this period, she designed numerous instructional materials for teaching Turkish as a foreign language. In addition, she greatly contributed to introducing Turkish culture to the Seattle community. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in the department of English Language Teaching at Middle East Technical University. Her research interests include foreign language teacher identity and developing intercultural communicative competence. Before joining Ankara Medipol University, she worked as an English language teacher at various language institutions. Şulenur Demirbaş has been working as an instructor at Ankara Medipol University School of Foreign Languages since September 2025.
Seçil Şevval DÖNER

Seçil Şevval Döner completed her Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University in 2023. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in English Language Education at Ufuk University and is in the thesis stage. Kezban Berna Özek completed her undergraduate degree in English Language Teaching at Erciyes University. After graduation, she briefly practiced her profession in Italy through the Erasmus+ internship program. Before joining Ankara Medipol University, she worked at Ankara Bilim University and TÖMER. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in English Language Teaching at Middle East Technical University.

Tuğba Çiftci completed her undergraduate studies in English Language Teaching at Gazi University in 2023. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in English Language Education at Ankara Social Sciences University. Before joining Ankara Medipol University, she taught at various prestigious institutions. As of September 2025, Tuğba Çiftci has been working as a lecturer at Ankara Medipol University's School of Foreign Languages.
Nurten BAYRAKTAR

Nurten Bayraktar graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature at Hacettepe University in 2016. She completed the Pedagogical Formation Program offered by the Faculty of Education at Hacettepe University. She has worked as an instructor and research assistant at Ankara University, Hacettepe University, and Cappadocia University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in English Language and Literature at Hacettepe University.

Büşra TATAROĞLU
Lecturer
Büşra Tataroğlu holds a BA in American Culture and Literature from Hacettepe University. She also holds a minor in English Language and Literature and a Pedagogical Formation certificate from the Faculty of Education. She is currently pursuing her master's degree at Hacettepe University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of American Culture and Literature. Her academic interests include life writing, minor literature, the concept of exile, and American history. She worked as an English teacher in various institutions for a while and has been working as a lecturer at Ankara Medipol University School of Foreign Languages, Department of Modern Languages, since September 2023.
Sümeyye GÜR
Lecturer
Sümeyye Gür holds a BA in English Language Teaching from Trabzon University. She also holds an associate degree in Child Development from Istanbul University. She is currently pursuing her master's degree at Ankara Social Sciences University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of English Language Teaching. She is currently working on a Tübitak 2209-A project titled "Co-teaching in middle school English classes: Worth a try?", and writing storybooks in English for children. Her academic interests include team teaching, assessment and evaluation, sustainability, and the use of artificial intelligence in foreign language education. She has previously worked as an English teacher in various private institutions, participated in international conferences and projects, and has been working as a lecturer at Ankara Medipol University School of Foreign Languages, Department of Modern Languages since September 2023.
Şevval ALAGEYİK
Lecturer
Şevval Alageyik completed her both undergraduate and master’s degrees in Foreign Language Education at Middle East Technical University. She also studied Sociology as a double major and European Studies as a minor degree. Her research interests evolve around native speakerism. Before joining Ankara Medical University, she worked as a pedagogic administration assistant and English language teacher in a language school in France. Şevval Alageyik has been working as an instructor at Ankara Medical University since September 2023.
Çağlar KORKMAZYİĞİT

Çağlar Korkmazyiğit completed his undergraduate studies in English Linguistics at Hacettepe University with honors degree. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in English Linguistics at the Graduate School of Social Sciences at Hacettepe University. His academic interests include syntax, second language acquisition, sociolinguistics, phonetics, and phonology. He has experience in academic article translation and English–Turkish AI language model development. He has also taught English to learners of various age groups and proficiency levels. Since September 2024, he has been working as an English Instructor at the School of Foreign Languages at Ankara Medipol University.
Muhammet Can KILIÇ
Lecturer
Muhammet Can Kılıç received his bachelor's degree in American Culture and Literature from Hacettepe University in 2022. He participated in European Council-approved Erasmus+ volunteering projects in Venice, Athens, and Stuttgart. He served as the Turkish team leader on these projects, which focused on the refugee crisis in Europe, human rights, and youth unemployment. During his university years, he won English-language debate awards at UN-approved conferences aimed at raising awareness about the functioning and principles of United Nations committees. Since September 2023, he has been a lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages at Ankara Medipol University.
Onuralp KURTOĞLU
Lecturer
Onuralp Kurtoğlu completed his undergraduate degree in English Language Teaching at Hacettepe University with high honors. During his undergraduate studies, he participated in the Erasmus+ student exchange program at the University of Rijeka in Croatia for two semesters. After completing his undergraduate studies, he completed an Erasmus internship in Barcelona. He also completed the CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults) and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at Bilkent University. Onuralp Kurtoğlu has been working as a lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages at Ankara Medipol University since February 2024.
Merve KARAMEHMETOĞLU
Lecturer
Merve Karamehmetoğlu completed her undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature at Bilkent University. She earned her Master’s degree in English Culture and Literature with a focus on Gothic and Horror Literature at Atılım University, Institute of Social Sciences. She also holds a TESOL certificate from Arizona State University. Since 2022, she has been working online as a Business English Teacher Trainer at a language school based in New York, USA. Previously, she served as a lecturer at various universities in Turkey. Since September 2025, she has been working as a lecturer at the School of Modern Languages at Medipol University.
