Compulsory English Preparatory Program Proficiency Exam Content and Assessment Information
The content of the English Preparatory Program Proficiency Exam to be administered to students enrolled in programs where the medium of instruction is English is as follows:
10 September:
- Multiple-Choice Test: 80 multiple-choice questions (40 points)
- Listening
- Reading
- Use of English
- Vocabulary
- Writing: 30 points
11 September:
Based on the exam results:
- Students who score between 0–69 will attend the Compulsory English Preparatory Program.
- Students who score 70 or above will be EXEMPT from the Compulsory English Preparatory Program.
IMPORTANT: Exam results will be announced via mebis.ankaramedipol.edu.tr. In order to view their exam results, students must know their MEBİS login passwords.

Compulsory English Preparatory Program Proficiency Exam Information
The English Preparatory Program Proficiency Exam for students enrolled in programs where the medium of instruction is English will be held FACE-TO-FACE on 10–11 September 2026 at Anafartalar Campus and Main Campus, Block B.
English Proficiency Exam (Written): 10.09.2026
English Proficiency Exam (Oral): 11.09.2026
- The exam is intended for programs in which the English Preparatory Program is compulsory. Students who do not wish to be exempt from the English Preparatory Program and who wish to attend the optional preparatory program are not required to take the exam.
- Students who do not take the exam will attend the English Preparatory Program. Students who wish to attend the optional preparatory program are required to submit their requests by petition to the Secretariat of the School of Foreign Languages (YDYO).
- Information regarding the classrooms in which students will take the exam will be announced on ydyo.ankaramedipol.edu.tr by 8 September 2026.
Candidates who will enroll in any Faculty/School/Vocational School program with a compulsory preparatory class must complete the petition form below and, if applicable, submit documentation proving that they meet the exemption requirements to [email protected] by 11 October 2026.

Points our students should pay attention to when coming to the exam:
- The exam will be held at two different campuses. Students must carefully check the announced exam list to determine at which campus they will take the exam. Students are required to know their exam classroom in advance.
- It is the students’ responsibility to arrive at the exam on time, taking into consideration the locations of the campuses and possible traffic congestion. Vehicles are not permitted to enter the campuses. Students will be responsible for any delays caused by traffic or transportation.
- There will be no make-up exam.
- Students are required to be present on campus at least one hour before the exam time.
- Students must know their student numbers (classroom identification will not be made by name).
- Students must have a valid national ID card, driver’s license, or passport with them (transportation cards or other documents will not be accepted).
- Students are responsible for bringing a soft-lead pencil and an eraser.
- Students are prohibited from having any computer, mobile phone, smartwatch, headphones, or similar electronic devices with them during the exam. Such devices must be left with accompanying persons.
- Parents/guardians will not be allowed inside, except for those accompanying students with special needs or disabilities. Students with special needs or disabilities are required to contact [email protected] by 8 September 2026.

Optional English Preparatory Education and Application Information
SCHOLARSHIP students who wish to attend the Optional English Preparatory Program will be admitted to the preparatory program with a 25% discount based on the tuition fee of the program in which they have been placed.
Students who wish to attend the Optional English Preparatory Program must complete the petition form below and send it to [email protected] by 8 September 2026.
